We believe in data minimization. We collect only what is necessary to ensure the App functions correctly and to improve user experience.

a. Personal Health Data (Stored Locally)

All fasting logs, weight entries, and personal health metrics you input into Vazio are stored locally on your device via Apple SwiftData. If you enable iCloud Backup, this data is synchronized to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, which is encrypted end-to-end. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your personal health data on our own servers.

b. Usage Data & Analytics

To improve the stability and functionality of Vazio, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage data. This helps us understand how the App is used (e.g., which features are popular, screen navigation paths) and diagnose technical issues.

• Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): We use this service to collect standard usage metrics. This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or specific health values.
• Technical Identifiers: We may collect device information such as model, operating system version, and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) to ensure compatibility and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect strictly for:

• Providing and maintaining the App's core functionality.
• Analyzing usage trends to develop new features.
• Detecting, preventing, and addressing technical issues (crashes or bugs).

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymous usage data with third-party service providers (like Google Firebase) solely for the purpose of analyzing App performance.

4. Data Retention

Since your personal health data is stored on your device/iCloud, it remains there until you delete it or uninstall the App. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google Analytics in accordance with their data retention policies (typically 14 months) before being automatically deleted.

5. Children's Privacy

Vazio is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child, we will delete such information from our records.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
